Transferring guests visiting Namibia for business, touring the country or having a leisure holiday only is one of the first impressions any visitor encounters of the hospitality of the Namibian people in general. Transfer self-employed drivers and/or employed drivers from large companies are by far not someone that is a tour-guide and should not be mistaken for one either. It is important though t
hat any driver for transfer/shuttling should possess a general knowledge of their country in order to be able to refer guests and direct them safely into the right direction in order to make them feel welcome and relaxed. It has become known that many drivers unfortunately is not dedicated towards building Namibia's name but for selfish reasons only gets the job done as soon as possible without going the extra mile. Heila's Shuttle Service aims to welcome any guest, make them feel comfortable and add to the transfer service through small gestures such as assisting new visitors to find the right ATM of their choice, find out which restaurants or lodges are willing to assist with late dinners after arrival, especially when flights come in late. When anyone wants to tour Namibia on their own but they do not actually want to drive, discuss the possibilities here as nothing is impossible. Guests book for game trips and need shuttles to take them to the ranch and back safely...it can be arranged with bookings. Should guests want to travel to Swakopmund, Walvisbay, etc...with some travelling around the area, it has been done for guests and the fact that you sit back, relax, tell us when you would like to stop or drive further...without having to take a group in consideration does have a certain appeal to many guests that want to enjoy every little bit of Namibia as much as possible. Guests have their own privacy, times and driver...and they set the pace and decide which is the next stop...
Prices are quoted as per every request as every request is different. Normal prizes currently: Windhoek - To airport OR from airport to destination in Windhoek = 1 x guest = N$250.00 / 2 x guests = N$400.00 / 3 x guests = N$520.00 / 4 x guests = N$700.00. Shuttling around Windhoek from destination to restaurants, etc = N$8.00 per kilometer.
