About the Role
Tok Tokkie Shuttle is expanding its premium regional transport operations. We are looking for a highly disciplined, professional, and experienced driver to pilot our fleet (including Toyota Quantum and 7-seater executive vehicles).
This is a unique hybrid role that combines high-frequency local transfers within Windhoek and to Hosea Kutako International Airport, alongside regular high-yield, cross-border long-haul trips along the Trans-Kalahari corridor to Gaborone.
Core Responsibilities
• Local Operations: Execute scheduled passenger transfers and airport runs safely and punctually.
• Cross-Border Long-Haul: Conduct international passenger transit on the Windhoek – Gaborone route (approximately 13 hours per leg).
• Fleet Maintenance: Maintain vehicles in pristine, clean condition and enforce strict official-use-only protocols.
• Daily Administration: Collect, organize, and submit all trip logs, cross-border toll receipts, and passenger invoices to the company bookkeeper on a daily basis.
• Standby Operations: Remain on standby at our central Maerua Mall office during standard daytime hours to await rapid local dispatch.
Minimum Requirements
• Licensing: Valid Namibian Driver’s License (Code B or C1) coupled with a valid, clean Public Driving Permit (PDP).
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial passenger transport experience. Prior cross-border driving experience through the Mamuno/Trans-Kalahari border posts is highly advantageous.
• Background: Clean criminal record and a completely accident-free driving history (Police clearance certificate required).
• Discipline: Exceptional time management, sober habits, clear communication skills, and a professional, well-groomed presentation.
