🦧 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 — 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺! ❤️🦧
Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island Foundation is one of those places that many visitors simply don’t know about.
It’s not just about seeing orangutans — there’s also an important conservation story behind it. ❤️
For nature and wildlife lovers, this can be a really interesting addition to a Penang trip… especially if you’re looking for something a little different from the usual tourist attractions.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱. 😉

A 50-strong population could one day help protect these endangered animals against a catastrophic decline in the wild.

❤️ 𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗟! 🦧🇦🇺🇲🇾
Today I had the pleasure of spending the day with a lovely couple from Darwin, Australia 🇦🇺, showing them a different side of Malaysia beyond the usual tourist spots.
Our adventure took us to 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, where we got up close with these amazing animals 🦧 — and even had a little monkey business along the way! 🐒😂
Of course, no Uncle Paul adventure is complete without some good local food! 😋🍜
Lots of sunshine, plenty of laughs, great food and, most importantly, memories to take home from Malaysia. ❤️

❤️ ANOTHER ADVENTURE WITH UNCLE PAUL! 🦧🇲🇾
What a great day out with my lovely visitors from America! 🇺🇸
We started the morning the local way — with a traditional Malaysian breakfast 😋 — before heading off to meet the real stars of the day… the orangutans! 🦧
From there, it was on to Kuala Sepetang, where we enjoyed the river, mangroves and fishing-village scenery, before visiting a traditional charcoal factory to see a way of life that has been around for generations.
For me, a good day out isn't only about visiting attractions. It's about experiencing the food, people, nature and local way of life along the way.
Plenty of smiles, plenty of laughs and another wonderful Malaysian experience together. 😎
Sometimes the best memories are found away from the usual tourist trail. ❤️

❤️ A REAL TASTE OF PENANG WITH UNCLE PAUL! 🇲🇾
What a wonderful day showing this lovely couple around my hometown — not just the famous sights, but the food, culture and little local experiences that make Penang special.
From beautiful heritage buildings and temples to watching traditional batik being made, we packed plenty into the day.
And of course… this is Penang, so FOOD had to be part of the adventure! 😋 We tried traditional Nyonya kuih and enjoyed some of the local favourites that I grew up eating.
For me, a Penang tour isn't just about taking guests from one attraction to another. It's about sharing the Penang I know and love as a local — its stories, its people, its culture and, naturally, its food. ❤️

What a wonderful day showing my new friends around Penang!
We started the morning the local way — with a real Penang breakfast before exploring some of the sights, flavours and cultures that make our island so special.
From Chew Jetty and trying fresh local fruits 🥥, to discovering our beautiful temples and learning a little about Penang’s different cultures and traditions.
And of course, no Uncle Paul tour is complete without introducing my guests to some of our local favourites — including Penang White Coffee! ☕😁
For me, a Penang tour is not just about visiting tourist attractions. It’s about meeting local people, tasting local food and experiencing the little things that make Penang… Penang.

A wonderful day trip combining an orangutan experience, a mangrove river estuary tour, a traditional charcoal factory, local breakfast and a delicious seafood lunch.
A little bit of wildlife, nature, local culture and good food — all in one day. ❤️
