I am so grateful for my life and my path I have chosen in life. Today was one of those days that just turned out spectacular. Today I was in a very heightened state of awareness and being. and . I went snorkelling and came across dozens and dozens of tiny baby jellyfish. No stingers it seems and I was able to just float in amazement watching them slowly surround me until the turtles came and started picking them off. @ La Playa Xpu-ha Beach Club

start with some good friends, a destination and the willingness to explore. Glad to see my cowboy skills are still up to par. Haven’t been on a horse in quite a while. There were 2 injury’s on this trip. Surprisingly neither of them was me. Lol it was a stormy day up on top of the mountain at the reserve. 🇲🇽 @ Reserva de la biosfera de la Mariposa Monarca

The ground being littered with thousands of monarchs it’s hard to move around without crushing them. In some places there were 5’ deep piles of monarchs under the trees they had been blown out of. And this was just the edge of the reserve. Travel beyond this point is not allowed as it’s too destructive on the ecosystem. With the rain and windy conditions all the monarchs could do is cling to everything in huge clusters to try and survive the day. What an with great friends. @ Reserva de la biosfera de la Mariposa Monarca

The mariposa butterfly reserve is truly an amazing place. This adventure was amazing and I must recommend it to anyone near the area. The weather was foul on top of the mountain so the butterfly’s were not majestically flying around but rather clumped together in giant clusters weighing down branches and bushes with heaps of them on the ground. To put it in perspective. We were 3000meters above sea level on the side of a mountain in the preserve. We were only allowed up to the edge of where the monarchs were as entering the area would have too many casualties. The entire valley and mountain side has billions and billions of monarchs. Zoom in on the pictures of the clusters covering the trees. It’s unimaginable just how many there are. This trip was truly a major highlight in my life and I’m so glad I had such good friends to keep me company @ Mariposa Monarca, michoacán
