C'è una cucina attrezzata e la possibilità di gustare i pasti in giardino. Gli appassionati di nuoto apprezzeranno il facile accesso al lago dal giardino e la spiaggia pubblica che dista 15 minuti a piedi. Il Lago Montorfano è perfetto per nuotare, remare e sguazzare, anche per i bambini! Una posizione comoda e tranquilla con parcheggio privato, ma a breve distanza in auto si raggiunge il centro di Como. Bambini e cani (e anche adulti!) adoreranno il giardinetto. EXTRA

C'è una fermata dell'autobus ASF Autolinee vicino alla struttura, e le linee di autobus possono portarvi alla città di Como e ad altre città sul lago. I biglietti possono essere richiesti all'autista (solo contanti) o presso la principale stazione degli autobus di Como. Si prega di notare che gli autobus non passano molto spesso e i servizi si fermano intorno alle 20:00! Sono disponibili corse in taxi, ma non facilmente raggiungibili nella regione. Da Como è facile raggiungere Milano e la Svizzera (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno) in treno. Ci sono anche traghetti pubblici che collegano le altre città lacustri dal molo nel centro di Como. Ci sono molte fontanelle pubbliche di acqua potabile nelle cittadine e l'acqua è potabile se non diversamente indicato. Anche l'acqua del rubinetto è potabile. Puoi portare la tua bottiglia ricaricabile! Il Lago di Como è uno dei laghi più profondi d'Europa e il più profondo d'Italia. Nuoto e immersioni sono vietati in molte aree e possono essere pericolosi. Per coloro che desiderano abitare nell'acqua, tuttavia, ci sono alcune opzioni. Nella città di Como, c'è una piscina all'aperto vicino a Villa Olmo, ma nuotare nel lago è per lo più sconsigliato o proibito. Montorfano By The Lake is the perfect getaway spot for a family or a group of friends. Situated in the little municipality of Montorfano, it offers quiet relaxation by the tiny Lake Montorfano while also staying within reach of the city of Como and its famous lake. This house is perfect for a family or a group of up to six people but also for a couple looking for a romantic experience. The house has a double bedroom with a lake view, a bedroom with two single beds (perfect for two children), and a living room with a double sofa bed. There is an equipped kitchen and a possibility to enjoy meals in the garden. Swimming enthusiasts will enjoy the easy lake access from the garden as well as the public beach which is a 15-minute walk away. Lake Montorfano is perfectly suitable for swimming, paddling, and splashing, even for children! A convenient and quiet location with private parking, but just a short drive takes you to Como city center. Children and dogs (and adults too!) will love the little garden. EXTRAS

Montorfano is a small municipality in the province of Como. It takes 15 minutes to drive to the center of Como city. If you wish to stay in Montorfano, there are also shops, bars, and restaurants in the neighborhood. Additionally, it takes around 15 minutes to walk to the public beach ("lido") with a beach bar and restaurant. GETTING AROUND
For the guests' convenience, we suggest arriving by car. That way you can easily access both Como and Lecco as well as shops and restaurants in the area. Traveling to and from Montorfano is also doable with public transport, although more challenging if you wish to explore a lot. There is an ASF Autolinee bus stop near the property, and bus lines can take you to Como city and other lakeside towns. Tickets can be obtained from the driver (cash only) or at the main bus station in Como. Please note that the buses don't run very often and services stop at around 8 pm! Taxi rides are available, but not easily attainable in the region. From Como, it is easy to travel to Milan and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno) by train. There are also public ferries traveling to other lakeside towns from the pier in Como center. Please be advised that the waiting lines at the ticket office can be long, you can also buy the tickets on the Navigazione Laghi website. The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost. >To travel and walk around Lake Como, especially in the little towns, comfortable shoes are a must.
>There are many public drinking-water fountains in the little towns, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. You can carry your own refillable bottle!
>In Italy, many shops (especially the little ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be careful to plan your shopping accordingly.
>Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to dwell in the water, however, there are some options. In Como city, there is an outdoor pool near Villa Olmo, but swimming in the lake is mostly not recommended or forbidden. Locals and visitors also enjoy traveling to Nesso where the bravest swimmers can jump into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.
>The property is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding pre-Alps might not seem very high, but the climate is nevertheless affected by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Be particularly attentive to the weather when hiking, and bring some warm and waterproof clothes with you!
