# # # **Levitz Cars Private Limited - Self-Drive Car Rental Terms & Conditions**
# # # # **1. Eligibility**
- The renter must be at least **21 years old** and hold a valid driving license that has been in effect for a minimum of **1 year**.
- International customers must provide an **International Driving Permit (IDP)** in addition to their home country’s driving license.
# # # # **2. Rental Agreement**
- The rental period begins when the vehicle is handed over to the customer and ends when it is returned in the same condition.
- All rentals are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement, and by signing, the renter agrees to these terms.
# # # # **3. Booking & Payment**
- A **security deposit** is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the car, subject to any damages or additional charges.
- Full payment must be made prior to vehicle handover unless otherwise agreed upon.
# # # # **4. Insurance & Liability**
- Our self-drive cars come with **third-party insurance**. However, the renter is responsible for damage to the vehicle, theft, or loss, unless additional **collision damage waiver (CDW)** insurance is purchased.
- In case of an accident, the renter must inform Levitz Cars and local authorities immediately and provide all required documents (e.g., police report).
# # # # **5. Vehicle Usage**
- The car must be driven only by the authorized driver(s) mentioned in the rental agreement. Unauthorized drivers will invalidate the insurance coverage.
- The vehicle is to be used for **personal transportation only** and cannot be used for any commercial purposes, racing, off-roading, or illegal activities.
# # # # **6. Fuel**
- The car will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to do so will result in an additional refueling charge.
# # # # **7. Mileage**
- **Daily mileage limits** apply. For most rentals, the limit is **150-200 km/day**. Excess mileage will be charged at a rate specified in the rental agreement.
# # # # **8. Vehicle Condition**
- The vehicle will be inspected before and after the rental period. Any damages or issues that occur during the rental period will be charged to the renter.
- The renter must return the vehicle in the same condition as received, with all documents and accessories (keys, spare tire, etc.).
# # # # **9. Roadside Assistance**
- In case of breakdowns, Levitz Cars provides **24/7 roadside assistance**. If the vehicle is immobilized due to renter negligence (e.g., running out of fuel, key loss, etc.), the renter will be responsible for all associated costs.
# # # # **10. Cancellation & Refunds**
- **Cancellations** made at least **48 hours before the rental date** are eligible for a full refund, minus a small processing fee.
- **Cancellations within 48 hours** or failure to show up will result in the forfeiture of the booking deposit.
# # # # **11. Late Returns**
- A late fee will apply for any rental returned after the agreed-upon time.
- The renter must notify Levitz Cars in advance if the return time needs to be extended, subject to vehicle availability.
# # # # **12. Prohibited Uses**
- The vehicle must not be driven under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other impairing substances.
- The vehicle cannot be used for **towing** other vehicles or for **transporting hazardous materials**.
# # # # **13. Termination of Rental**
- Levitz Cars reserves the right to terminate the rental at any time in case of non-compliance with these terms or unsafe behavior.
# # # # **14. Governing Law**
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising will be handled in the jurisdiction of the **[Local Court]**.
# # # # **15. Privacy Policy**
- Personal information provided during the rental process will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the rental agreement and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
