Member Spotlight | AITWA

Proud to share an industry update from AITWA Member – Om Logistics Supply Chain, which continues to raise the bar in time-critical surface logistics with its ‘Speed Trucking’ services.

As supply chains face tighter production cycles and delivery timelines, Speed Trucking offers air-like transit speed through surface transportation, making it a reliable and cost-effective alternative to air freight. Designed for businesses where every hour matters, the service ensures faster, predictable and safer movement of consignments across India.

Built on a disciplined, precision-led model, the ‘Speed Trucking’ service features structured hourly departures, relay-driver system and direct origin-to-destination movement without transshipment, reducing delays, handling risks and downtime. With the ability to cover up to 1,000 km per day, it supports critical sectors such as automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, engineering goods and high-value retail.

Backed by a pan-India, GPS-enabled, containerized fleet and strong highway connectivity, Om Logistics Supply Chain continues to set new benchmarks in time-bound surface logistics.

Key Highlights of Speed Trucking:
->Cost-effective alternative to air freight
-> Hourly departure model for predictable transit
-> No transhipment, enhanced goods safety
-> Relay driver system for continuous movement
-> Nationwide coverage
-> Ideal for regions with limited air cargo access

AITWA appreciates the operational excellence demonstrated by its members in strengthening India’s logistics ecosystem.

🚢 Strengthening Northern India’s EXIM Connectivity! 🇮🇳

AITWA congratulates Om Logistics Ltd., our esteemed member, on the remarkable expansion of ICD-Bawal (Sanjvik Terminals) — a major step forward in boosting Northern India’s export-import operations.

With the commencement of BL Point by ONE (Ocean Network Express) Line, one of the world’s leading shipping lines, and the resumption of EXIM rail connectivity from key ports like Mundra, Pipavav, and JNPT (in collaboration with Pristine Logistics & Infraprojects), ICD-Bawal is redefining efficient trade logistics.

These developments enhance direct and reliable EXIM service delivery, especially for customers in the automobile and white goods sectors located within the Korean and Japanese industrial belt.
The availability of double-stack rail movement under the Gati Shakti framework further improves cost efficiency and turnaround time.

With record TEUs achieved in September 2025, ICD-Bawal is fast emerging as a key logistics hub driving Northern India’s trade growth.

AITWA applauds Om Logistics and the Sanjvik Terminals team for their continued contribution to strengthening India’s logistics network and advancing the nation’s EXIM efficiency. 👏

We sincerely appreciate the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the proactive approach of the Finance Ministry, and the steadfast efforts of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) in implementing transformative reforms in the GST regime.

The recent reduction in GST rates on trucks, tyres, and several ancillary items marks a significant and forward-looking step for India’s logistics and transportation sector. These reforms are bound to stimulate fresh investments across the industry, not only by large players but also empowering small truck owners and allied businesses.

By substantially lowering the cost of logistics, these measures will improve efficiency, enhance competitiveness, and contribute to reducing overall supply chain costs. This bold move will play a key role in strengthening the backbone of India’s economy and accelerating the country’s journey towards becoming a $5 trillion economy.

All India Transporters Welfare Association remains committed to working closely with the Government in its mission to build a stronger and more self-reliant Nation, by supporting policies that promote sustainable growth and empower every stakeholder in the logistics ecosystem.
