*School Transport Update:

Due to current weather warnings, we will not be operating Bus Eireann school transport Services this morning Monday 13th in the counties affected by the Status Red and Orange Warnings - particularly Co Kilkenny.

Afternoon school transport services today will operate as normal, subject to local road conditions being safe to travel.

Take it easy on the roads out there if you have to travel this afternoon, we're seeing lots of surface water and debris on the roads. Even had to avoid an embankment mudslide at Pouldrew (between Kilmeaden and Portlaw) earlier - avoid that stretch of road if you can.

Now that Santa is safely back at the North Pole, we sent him a little message to thank him for sending his road train to Waterford - wouldn't it be great if he could send it again next year? Thanks to everyone for helping to make the festival and the Winterval Express Train a success. Here is a clip of the final journey the train made during Winterval 2012 - Happy New Year to All!
