As part of EACD Galway 2026 Variety Ireland's 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 will be paying a visit to Galway this Saturday 6th June for a 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 & 𝐓𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 event!! ❤️🚲☀️

This is a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓 and there's no need to register. Thanks to our partners in CoMotion there will be lots of different adaptive mobility trikes to try, as well as side-by-side tandems and wheelchair transporter 🌈👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The event is takes place in the Kingfisher Sports Hall in University of Galway and is part of the Experience Village of the European Academy of Childhood-Onset Disability (EACD) conference which is taking place from 3-6 June in Galway. 🥰🦽

We were delighted to launch Irelands first automated BEACH WHEELCHAIR HUB at Clonea beach, Dungarvan, Co.Waterford. Utilising the STEED Mobility APP users can reserve, and access beach wheelchairs when they need them. This initiative has been launched with the support of Waterford City and County Council and CoMotion.

Just APP, TAP, and GO…… no more reservations, waiting, phone calls, etc. When the suns out or the mood takes you, the wheelchairs are there, accessible, and ready to go.

More hubs to follow across Ireland this summer. If you’d like a hub for either beach wheelchairs, adapted tricycles, mobility aids, please contact us - [email protected].

It’s been an amazing Bike Week for all of us at CoMotion. One of the highlights was the event organised by Fingal County Council and Variety - the Children's Charity of Ireland at Millennium Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin. Great turn out and so much fun was had by all. We’re proud to be an official partner of Variety Ireland to supply specially adapted bikes and trikes for these events.
