At abacus cabs our first priority is keeping our passengers and drivers safe. We are doing are part in stopping the spread of Covid19. As the country is slowly opening and if anyone has a hospital appointment and are nervous about transport we have a new protective screen fitted in one of our cars and the driver will wear gloves and mask on request. No need to worry about taking a taxi now. If at all possible we would appreciate card payment to minimise contact. Just call abacus 8491111 and request declan or call him direct on 0874456888. We have plenty of cars without screens also available, please call for any of your transport needs. Stay safe everyone!

A warning to be careful about drink driving as we are getting close to Christmas and Plod are out there checking on people. Last night I was out for a few drinks. One thing lead to another and I had a few too many pints and then went onto the brandy. Not a good idea. Knowing I was over the limit, I decided to leave my car at the pub and took a taxi home. Sure enough, I passed a police checkpoint at the top of the road where they were pulling over cars and performing breathalyser tests. Because I was in a taxi they just waved it past. I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise as I've never driven a taxi before and I am not even sure where I got it from...

Jealous,horrible individuals it takes to do something like this to such a little Focus Point in our town..
