Full unrestricted CVRT testing will resume on the Monday the 15th June.

Note: The 3 month extension to all certs that fall within the date range (see links in previous post) still applies, if you want to avail it. In these cases Motor tax can be applied for in the usual manner with out the requirement for a new CVRT.

As a result of our recent closure due to Coivd19, we are experiencing a high volume of calls for booking, we are doing our best to assist customers with bookings. There is also an on-line booking service at CVRT.ie(link below). This is the fastest and most efficient way to make a booking, that suits your needs at the current time.

We are delighted to announce that vehicle testing will resume on this Monday 18th of May 2020 in a limited capacity.

This is a phased resumption of testing and will ONLY apply to vehicles due their periodic test on or before the 27th of March 2020 (Pre Covid 19!) This will be inline with the government guidelines, taking all necessary precautions to protect our staff and customers.

Further directions have yet to be released from the RSA regarding retest and the full resumption of testing. Hopefully this will be posted over the coming days.

✔️ NCT – vehicles with a test that was or will be due on or after 28 March 2020 have that test date extended by 4 months
✔️Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Tests (CVRT) – vehicles with a test that was or will be due on or after 28 March have that test date extended by 3 months
✔️Driving licenses due to expire between 1 March 2020 and 30 June 2020 inclusive have had their date of expiry extended by 4 months
✔️Learner Permits due to expire between 1 March 2020 and 30 June 2020 inclusive have had their date of expiry extended by 4 months
