Naas people being warned by Gardaí not to withdraw large wads of cash after man is followed home

A Co Kildare man who had a significant amount of money stolen from him is understood to have been followed from a bank in Naas to his home in Kill.

Following the incident, earlier in the week, Gardaí are appealing for information close to the Hartwell Green area.

It is understood that there were two men in a silver Opel Astra car with a sun-roof.

Sgt Mary Mulroe said: "In the last few weeks there have been a few of these incidents in Naas. Don't withdraw a large amount of money from banks as people are being watched. It is not the first time that a person has been followed home."
