Special day today, never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever have a Brough Superior SS100 on board.....
A trip down to Ducati Technical Services near Spilspy in Lincolnshire to collect this lovely 1977 Ducati 900ss after a rebuild, delivered to a customer over in Derbyshire, eagerly waiting its return, and to refit it's fairing.
Next stop Horbury to collect this RD500 engined special for an overseas customer...one of those 'special bike days'!!

A lovely Yamaha R6 I recovered from Sherburn-in-Elmet today with a rear puncture...the Pirelli Diablo tyre only had 200 miles on it too,😨 a bolt straight through the tread and out of the sidewall🤬
A brand spanking new KTM 790 Duke supplied by Gear4 Motorcycles in Market Deeping....delivered to a customer in York on Friday morning.
It's as light as a 500 but its a 790 twin, sounds like fun to me!
A 2am start for a 7am collection in Southampton this morning...delivered to Ripon before midday...

A lovely early morning trip up to Amble on the Northumberland coast this morning to collect this equally lovely Norton Commando 961 Sport for a customer....
A lovely '69 Triumph Tiger and a Harley Davidson 1200 had a ride from Pontefract up to Blackhall Mill near Newcastle on Thursday evening, a 730pm delivery to suit the customer...
One of todays jobs was to deliver this wonderful 1952 Vincent Rapide C Series to a customer in York. In original condition with lovely patina it's only covered just over 20 thousand miles.

A couple of 125's, A YBR and a CBR, a lovely BSA A7 and a Triumph Daytona had a ride in the van. Wilberfoss, Amotherby, Ossett and the Isle of Man ferry at Heysham all had a visit...time for a cold beer now!
Popped to Strawberry Fields Cafe for my tea on the old Kwak Cafe Racer...well worth a visit !!

An 0730 collection from Southampton this morning was this gorgeous '55 Triumph Thunderbird hardtail, a matching numbers bike with a bolt on hardtail, so not chopped...delivered into our very own Race the Waves battleground of Bridlington by 1400 today, despite the ongoing invasion of Westerners!
Another early morning start! An 8am arrival in Barrow-in-Furness saw this lovely repatriated matching numbers, (U.S. registered in 1974), 1973 model Triumph Daytona T100R grasped from the icy grip of a Cumbrian summer and delivered to a customer near Hull.

Another early start today, an 0830 collection at Foxtech Racing in Wooton Bassett, South of Swindon. This lovely little Montessa Cota trialler had a ride back to a collector in E.Yorks
One of the quickest bikes I have ever transported had a ride into the main dealers in Rotherham...a BMW S1000RR, bristling with technology to prevent it exceeding the laws of physics, fitted with an aftermarket exhaust system to release even more than the standard 204 bhp...
I was away early up to Castle Douglas, Scotland by 8am today, to collect this lovely Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster. Delivered to it's new owner near Shiptonthorpe by 12 noon....
Something a little bit special today...a 6am collection and a toddle down into deepest Norfolk to deliver a Yamaha ...with a difference!
The frame is a 1990 TZR250, VFR400 swinging arm, YZF125R panels.The RD350 YPVS engine has had Barry Dawsons's Blue Haze Engineering magic wand waved over it, turning it into a 400cc 78bhp screamer...all in a lovely looking 120kg package! A 2Moto 2M400R-SP

A sunny morning trip to Bolsover with this lovely 1949 Lambretta Model B 125 Innocenti....there's not many 72 year old scooters about!
First job of the day was to recover this Yamaha Delight 125 to Jax Motorcycles, then on to Wilsons Butchers for a fresh out of the oven sausage roll (or two!)
Feeling very honoured today....Having recently purchased this matching numbers 1950 Vincent Comet 500 from Spicers Classic Bike Auction in Sledmere, the buyer asked me to transport it home for him😊

Another day with a soggy cap! A nice old 1997 Suzuki 600 Bandit had a ride to ASL Motorcycles at Murton for a bit of fettling
A steady trundle into the depths of East Yorkshire this evening to collect this newly purchased HD 883 Sportster and deliver it to Bilton nr Hull... A well cared for bike with some nice sounding pipes!

A somewhat soggy start to proceedings today, but another unusual job...a Piaggio Ape (pronounced Ap-ay) 3 wheeler complete with on board coffee machine had a ride to a new business premises.
First job of the day was this gorgeous MV Agusta F4 that had a ride to Optimum Bikes for some work doing and an MOT. A welcome cuppa and an ogle at the wonderful bikes on sale...some really exclusive machines all in top condition!
Then on to Selby to deliver a Sym Joyride 125 to its new owner, a smart little ped!.
Next job was a call out to Whitby to recover this brand new 2020 Suzuki V-Strom...a lovely cooling evening breeze and a steady sunset drive over the moors to end the day 😎
A bit of an unusual job today..I got confirmation at 9pm last night for a 7:30am collection....
In Bristol.
I set off just before 3am, loaded up a Bullett Cargobike at 7:20 and had it delivered in York by 12:15pm
Definately one of the more unusual wheeled contraptions I've transported...up there with the French 'Blotto' tricycle and the MG racing car!
