Trailer has new wheels, new hitch, new running gear so it's very obvious its well maintained if offered 2nd hand - ramps are also stored on the bed as not the correct ramps for the trailer

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in sustaining JB Motors, high service standards. You will undertake servicing, repairs, ensuring our customers drive away in vehicles known for reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out general vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of makes and models, including EVs.
• Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections, ensuring all vehicles are ready for showroom display or delivery.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and provide transparent repair estimates.
• Liaise with service and sales teams.
• Maintain workshop standards: cleanliness, tool/equipment upkeep, and health & safety compliance.
• Remain complaint with Vauxhalls training online programs.
Skills & Qualifications
• Qualified Vehicle Technician with MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but not essential
• Demonstrable experience servicing and repairing multiple makes/models, especially used vehicles.
• Skilled with diagnostic tools and able to identify issues accurately.
• Attention to detail in safety, quality, and compliance.
• Excellent communication—comfortable explaining technical issues to customers and colleagues.
• Team player with a friendly, professional attitude that reflects our local family business values.

Job description:

Delivery and collection of motor vehicles nationwide

We deliver and collect vehicles all over the British Isles, from fleet deliveries and end of lease collections to dealer transfers. We also transport a variety of vehicles to and from a local well known family run auction site.

A positive outgoing attitude to be able to supply a handover experience of their new car to the customers.

Duties Involve

* Safe Loading and Unloading of vehicles

* Vehicle appraisals, checking for damage on collection/delivery

* Customer handovers, explanation of vehicle controls and additional eqiupment

* Ensure cleanliness of vehicles for delivery

* Completion of electronic and hard copy paperwork to a required standard

* Drivers will be courteous to customers at all times, good vocabulary, smart appearance, (part uniform available after trial period)

* 2 - 3 nights out per week

* Full C1E Licence (not code 107) or CE required

* Drivers CPC required, training provided for the right applicant

* Full Time 40+ hours per week

Delivering and collecting vehicles nationwide, from the top of Scotland to Cornwall we cover it all. We specialise in fleet & lease deliveries for a local dealer, but we also do transport for the customers of a well known family run auction site in the local area.

Daily duties include, daily vehicle checks, vehicle appraisals, vehicle cleanliness, completion of electronic and physical paperwork to the highest standards, safe loading and unloading of vehicles on to the trucks and trailers, also good management of timing and tachograph regulations.
Drivers need to be smart and presentable at all times, we do provide the top 1/2 of uniform after an initial period.
Drivers also need to have good customer skills as we are delivering direct to the end user
2 - 3 nights out a week depending on workload

Good Salary available
4 weeks standard holiday + Bank holidays
