As with everything we work together on with Workington Town Community Trust, we’re excited to extend our youth clubs in Workington to hosting a number of them at Broughton Moor Primary School starting on 29th April.
As someone who grew up and still lives in Broughton Moor I know how little there is for our kids to do here so please support this and give our project the success it needs to support more initiatives in the village.

We’re excited to share some fantastic news with our community! 🎉
We will soon be hosting a Pop-Up Youth Club in partnership with Workington Town Community Trust.
Workington Town Community Trust already runs a range of brilliant youth clubs across the area, providing safe, welcoming spaces where young people can socialise, take part in fun activities, build confidence, and develop new skills. Their sessions are always engaging, inclusive, and focused on supporting young people to thrive.
The club will be open to all young people aged 8–14 years (Year 3 to Year 9), and we’re looking forward to welcoming children from across the community.
There is no cost to attend, making this a great opportunity for everyone to get involved.
In order to attend, all young people must have a signed and completed consent form. These forms can be collected from the school office.
Please note: this youth club is not being run by the school — we are simply providing the venue.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can’t wait to see everyone there! 🎉
This new pop-up club has come directly from your voices. Through our School Council, and by working closely with Broughton Moor Development Group and Active Cumbria, we have listened carefully to what our village wanted — and a youth club was high on the list!
We’re really looking forward to bringing this opportunity to our young people and can’t wait to see it get started.
