Stanhope S&C 1-3 Penshaw FC

Hour drive this morning to play a Stanhope side sitting 2nd in the Darlo Prem.

First 25 mins we were unplayable, Adam Smith & Browny up top terrorising the centre halves while the midfield dictated play.

Lee Coates thread Arron Wilkinson through with a great ball, powering through the middle past 3 lads and slotting him with his left peg, new boots are fast as f**k.

Latter stages of the second half we dropped off massively, allowed Stanhope in the game and they equalised after we fell asleep at the back.

HALF-TIME, 1-1.

After some half time instructions and a little change of formation, back to something abit more familiar, we started to show what we were about.

Adam Smith leaving 4 players for dust and being brought down in the box. Tucked away by Browny. Browny back from a 3 week holiday back on the scoresheet.

Then getting his second with a f**king thunder bastard in off the top left stanchion, cracking finish.

FULL-TIME, 1-3.

MOTM: 🌟 Sid, yanar the crack. 40 beans and still taking the p**s.

Got to mention Jack Ramsden, telling himself he was sh*te all game but absolutely ran the show, not a blade of grass he didn’t cover, sublime effort.

We are now fully booked until the week commencing 5th May.
If you are needing your vehicle booked in please call the office 0191 4179083 and we will book in accordingly, our dairy does fill up fast so always book in advance when possible especially for MOT’s.
Also, please refrain from turning up at the garage if you don’t have a booking to have your vehicle looked at on the spot or to see if it can be “squeezed in” as we aren’t able to do so.

All bookings/enquires need to be made to the office as we don’t monitor the Facebook inbox regularly.
