📣 Shakespeare Marathon – Park & Ride update 🏃‍♀️🚌

Running the Shakespeare Marathon on Sunday 26 April or heading into Stratford‑upon‑Avon to support?

✅ Stratford Park & Ride will be running to help reduce traffic and parking pressure in the town.
🕢 First bus: 7.30am
🕒 Frequency: Every 15 minutes
📍 Route: Bishopton Lane Park & Ride ➡️ Windsor Street Coach Park
🕰️ Timetable: Runs until the normal Sunday finishing times

Please note, due to road closures for the event, buses will not serve the usual town centre stops.
Using Park & Ride is a great way to support the event and keep Stratford moving smoothly on the day.

⚠️ BUS STOP SUSPENDED – ASTON CANTLOW ⚠️
13–17 April 2026

Due to carriageway resurfacing works, Stagecoach service 229 will not be able to serve Aston Cantlow between 09:30 and 15:30 on these dates.
🕒 Services running outside of these hours will operate as normal.

🚧 Road Closures – Cromwell Lane & Dalehouse Lane 🚧

Please be aware that essential works will be taking place on both Cromwell Lane and Dalehouse Lane from Tuesday 7 April 2026.

🔸 Cromwell Lane will be closed until 6pm Sunday 30 August 2026.
🔸 Dalehouse Lane will be closed until Monday 7 June 2027.

Bus services will follow diversions for the duration of these closures.

Please allow extra time for your journey and plan ahead where possible.

🚧 Road Closure Update – Temporary Bus Service 🚧

Stratford Road between Alveston and Charlecote will be closed for roadworks from 30 March to 22 May 2026.

Because of this, the normal Service 15 is being diverted via Loxley and won’t be able to serve Alveston or Tiddington.

To keep these villages connected, Warwickshire County Council is providing a free temporary replacement service, operated by Bakers Coaches, using a 19‑seat accessible minibus.
