🚛 Exciting News from Ellesmere Port! 🚛

We are delighted to announce that Simon Robbins has been appointed as our new Depot Manager at Ellesmere Port.

Simon’s journey is a fantastic example of where dedication, perseverance, and hard work can lead. Leaving school at 16, he began his career as an HGV Apprentice at Deeside Truck Services, progressing through the ranks from Technician to Supervisor, then Service Manager, and now into the role of Depot Manager.

His achievement is a testament to years of commitment, continuous development, and a passion for the industry. It also serves as a powerful reminder that successful careers are built over time—through learning, determination, and seizing opportunities along the way.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone as we say a heartfelt thank you and farewell to Mark, our Depot Manager at Ellesmere Port, who is retiring after an amazing 53 years with Haydock Commercials. 🫶

Mark’s loyalty, dedication, and wealth of experience have left a lasting imprint on everyone he’s worked with. He’s not only been a fantastic manager to so many, but also a mentor to most and even a second dad to some — a true testament to the kind of person he is.

His presence will be greatly missed across the business, but his legacy will undoubtedly live on.
