Qualified to Police advanced level for both cars and motorcycles, I have been a Police advanced car driver for the past twenty six years. I also attended and passed courses for the Special Escort Group, for both cars and bikes. During my time with the Police it was my pleasure to be involved with the planning and escorting members of the British Royal family, Prime Ministers, American and Russian Presidents and Chinese dignitaries. I was involved in the G8 summit in Birmingham in 1998, and again in 2005 when it was held at Gleneagles. My skills and experience were recognised, being selected as part of the Central Escort Group (National), for the Tour of Britain cycle race in 2009, and more recently at the London Olympics in 2012.
