'Bravery in Adversity' - This sums up Debbie.

Faced with the most horrendous news about her health she has found a way to give something back to the one of the Charities that supports cancer sufferers and their families, Maggie's Centres

Nothing would please Debbie more than seeing her reach, or even exceed, the fund raising target she has set.

Every little helps as they say!

The award winning ‘Best Fish and Chip Truck in Scotland’ is going to be parking up at Meikle Ferry Station on a regular basis, starting from this evening, Wednesday 9th July.

It would be great to see this new location well supported as who knows what it could lead to!

Many Thanks to all our customers and staff who contributed to raising money for Mikeysline over the weekend. The £461.83 raised at Meikle Ferry Station has been added to the money raised by the Star Inn Tain 2023 and helps make a valuable contribution to a fantastic charity. 😊

Well what can I say…….. I’m completely lost for words.

Taking on the Star Inn in 2023, my ambition was to do as much as I could for charity during this business adventure. We all have dealt with mental health issues in some form or another at some stage of our life’s. For myself this last 11 months has been a struggle. Which is why I wanted this Mikeysline charity event to be the best yet….. and by god yous did NOT disappoint!!

The total raised is as follows:

£1000 - Euro Plan
£600 - Billy and Fiona Nimmons
£461.83 - Meikle Ferry Station
£500 - GF Job Limited
£270 - Auction for Glenmorangie Signet
£400 - Auction for signed darts shirt
£50 - Auction for 4 ball st Port Golf Club
£100 - Jack Rhind donated £50 for every 180 scored
£2060 - from raffles sales, football cards & darts day
