JOB VACANCIES

Byron Travel have opportunities for both D1 and D (minibus or coach) PSV drivers to service new contracts starting in November.
Based from our Sunderland Depot.

The work is varied which will be a mix of school transport, private hires, day trips and short UK tours driving minibus and/or coaches. We operate 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and you will have some flexibility to choose hours and days.

You will need to have:
- Active and up-to-date DCPC qualification card
- Minimum of 2 years on a D1 or D driving license
- Ability to undergo a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Benefits:
- £22.5k Basic annual salary, paid monthly.
(Based on 35 hours per week)
- Ample paid stand-down periods
- Pension contribution
- 28 days holiday

Additional hours are available if required.
Opportunity to uptrain to a full D license if you don't already have one.

Minibus PSV Driver Required
Byron Travel are looking for a part-time PSV driver to drive one of our 16 seat minibuses on a local term-time college contract.
You will need to have an up-to-date DCPC qualification card, a minimum of a D1 license and the ability to undergo a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
Minimum of 12 hours per week, £15 per hour.
Initially Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (08:45 start)
Additional hours and days may be available, if you would like them, along with the opportunity to uptrain to a full D license if you don't already have one.
Standard conditions of employment for this post include eligibility for holiday pay, pension contributions and uniform.

PSV Driver Required

We're looking for an additional driver to join our small team working out of our Sunderland depot.

Requirements:
- Full Cat D License
- Valid DCPC
- Valid Tacho Card

You will be required to safely operate PSV minibuses and coaches on varied work including schools and private hire.
A smart appearance, friendly character, and ability to undergo a satisfactory EDBS is a must.
Hours are variable based around weekday school times.
This is a TERM TIME ONLY position with a minimum of 16 hours per week.
There is other work available, if required, to increase hours, including out of term time, weekend and evening.

£15 per hour, paid monthly (PAYE).
Paid breaks, holiday & pension entitlement.

We're Hiring!

Due to new contracts this year we're looking for additional drivers to join our team.

Minimum of 16 hours during college term time.
Potential of more hours and other work out of term time if wanted.
Must have D1 license, full D license preferred.
Up to date CPC card, we can assist with this if you don't have a valid one.
Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS, funded by us.
