HGV class1 Driver
Based at stoke on Trent

We are family run haulage company, transporting anything around the UK from module buildings to highly restricted loads,
We operate a number of different trailers/truck set ups including: 8x2 Lorry mounted hiab, step frames and low loaders
We are not after any glory hunters, who want to be hauling the biggest loads in the UK, because that’s not what we do, our work is very varied and you must be versatile to change to which ever load at any given time.
This role is practically immediate start, yes there are long hours for the job role, early starts as most jobs, load up from 5:30am or before. We don’t just do high milliage jobs, we do quite abit of local runs in stoke on Trent, so if you want to be travelling to Scotland every week. Don’t apply.
The kit is the kit, Volvo tractor unit, double drive, plenty of step frames and flat work.

Candidate Requirements
Essential:
All applicants
MUST have the right to work and reside in the UK.
Must be willing to work as a team, and not a solo person.
A Valid C+E License.
Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
25 Years of Age (insurance purposes).
Roping and sheeting jobs is required for quite a few loads now.
Preferred:
ALLMI Crane Operative (Other tickets will be upgraded if you have a current NPORS Cert).
Experience with tramping.
Experience in wide loads, abnormal loads, operating some plant equipment, (training would be provided for the right candidate)
Pay
Standard 39 hour week, overtime Rate is paid after 40 hours. Hourly rate negotiable for the right person!
£25 per night out, plus we pay the parking charge.
There is overtime to be handed out, and weekends will be worked in accordance to our work load.
