Wow… what a response! 🥹❤️

Since announcing our £5 each-way price increase less than 48 hours ago, we have genuinely been overwhelmed by the amount of love, support and understanding we have received from you lovely people. 💬❤️

We’ve had messages coming through Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp, and we honestly cannot thank you enough. 🙏

And do you know what’s absolutely blown us away?

Since making that post, we have gained so many new followers that we have officially reached…

Yes...500 people following Meir Park Travels! ❤️

We genuinely couldn't have imagined reaching this milestone without all of you, so THANK YOU! 🥹❤️

Our Google reviews, your messages and your continued support speaks for itself
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We work incredibly hard to provide a reliable, professional and friendly airport transfer service, and we genuinely care about every single booking we take. 🚖✈️

We want to be completely transparent with you.
Rather than quietly increasing our prices, we felt it was only right to explain exactly why and thats why our previous post was published.

We know that, in many cases, we remain cheaper than airport meet & greet services and cheaper than parking at the airport yourself — while giving you the convenience of being picked up and dropped off where you need to be. 🧳✈️

………………………………………………………………………………………

🎉 AND NOW FOR THE EXCITING BIT…

Because you lovely lot have helped us reach 500 FOLLOWERS, we've decided to do something special! 🥳🎁

We're bringing our END-OF-YEAR GIVEAWAY forward! 🎉🎉

That's right… we're going to announce it EARLY! 👀🔥

And this giveaway is going to run for around 7 WEEKS, giving everyone plenty of time to get involved and enter! 🙌

We won't be revealing all the details just yet…

👀 KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED! 👀

We'll be releasing ALL the giveaway details in the next 2 weeks, so make sure you're following us.

Keep checking our Facebook updates and get ready! 🎁✈️🚖

Once again…

THANK YOU FOR 500 FOLLOWERS! ❤️🎉
Thank you for every booking.
Thank you for every recommendation.
Thank you for every Google review.
Thank you for every message.
Thank you for every new follower.
And thank you for continuing to support Meir Park Travels. 🥹❤️

500 followers may just be a number, but to our small business, it means so much.

✈️ A LITTLE UPDATE FROM US ❤️

Meir Park Travels - Your Local Airport Transfer Specialists

We just wanted to give all of our lovely customers, previous and new, a quick heads-up about a small change to our airport transfer prices.

All new bookings made from 1st October 2026, there will be an increase of £5 each way on our current fares.

We’ve genuinely tried to keep our prices as low as possible for as long as we can, but the cost of providing our service has continued to increase. 🚗⛽

💷 What goes into the price of an airport transfer?

Our fares are not simply based on the distance travelled. There are a number of costs and factors we have to take into account when working out a fair price for each journey, including:

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Number of passengers — the number of people travelling can determine the vehicle required.

🚐 Size of vehicle needed — larger groups and additional luggage may require a larger vehicle.

🔄 Some journeys may involve multiple address pick-ups and drop-offs.

🅿️ Airport drop-off & pick-up fees — these have increased from around £5 to approximately £8 on average. ( East Midlands have announced their increase today )

📋 Licensing & compliance costs — including licensing, MOT and other vehicle-related requirements.

🔧 Vehicle wear & tear — tyres, servicing, maintenance and repairs.

💼 Business running costs — insurance, administration, booking systems, accounting, advertising and the many other costs involved in running a professional airport transfer service.

⛽ Fuel — not too long ago we were paying around £1.65 per litre for diesel. It is now almost £2 per litre.

All these mentioned factors are what makes up the price of your airport transfer.

………………………………………………………………………………………

❤️ When you look at the increases in the costs we're facing, we believe this is a very modest increase, and one that will allow us to continue providing the high level of service our customers have come to expect from us.

And, importantly:

🤝 If our operating costs come back down in the future, we will review our prices accordingly.

We believe in keeping things fair and passing savings on to our customers whenever we're able to.

🙏 Thank you to every single customer who books with us, recommends us to friends and family, leaves us a review or chooses to travel with us again.

Your support means a huge amount to our family business, and we genuinely appreciate it.

………………………………………………………………………………………

⭐ Our Google reviews speak for themselves.

We're incredibly proud of the feedback we receive from our customers, and it's fantastic to see so many people taking the time to tell others about their experience with us.

Our aim has always been to provide a reliable, friendly, comfortable and professional service, and we hope our customers feel that the small increase is a fair reflection of the service we work hard to provide. ❤️

❤️ Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

⚠️✈️ MANCHESTER AIRPORT – TERMINAL 2 UPDATE ✈️⚠️

🚗 Travelling through T2? Please allow extra time!

Terminal 2 on a daily basis is experiencing heavy traffic and delays, especially at busy times.
(4am to 8am and 2pm to 6pm )

Drop-offs and collections can take longer than usual. ⏳ ( This is all due to T1 no longer operating as a Terminal )

🛫 Flying out?

Please be ready at your agreed collection time so we can get you to the airport without unnecessary delays.

🧳 Coming home?

📱 Keep your phone on and message your driver when your luggage starts arriving — not when you’re already outside!

🚘 T2 West / P3 Car Park collection queues can take up to 45 minutes, so please wait inside the terminal until your driver gives you clear collection instructions.

🤝 We can’t control the airport traffic, but good communication helps us keep things moving!

🙏 Thanks for your patience and understanding.

BLACKPOOL… WE’RE BACK! 🎆🎢

Another fantastic weekend trip for some very special customers ❤️

This time, we had the pleasure of taking our lovely customers from Uttoxeter down to Blackpool on Friday, before heading back on Sunday to collect them and bring them safely home. 🚐💨

And these aren’t just any customers… they’re regulars who have used us NUMEROUS times now, and over an incredible FIVE different generations of the family! 😍

Yes… FIVE generations! 👴👵👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

At this rate, we’re expecting the family tree to come with its own passenger manifest! 😂🌳🚐

They’re such a warm, friendly family that they even went out of their way to bring a little gift for my daughter — and even brought some rock back for my sons! 🥹🪨❤️

It’s little gestures like that which mean more than people realise. We’re incredibly grateful for customers like these who have become such a lovely part of the Meir Park Travels family.

❤️ Just like many of you, they arrived as customers… but leave as friends.

And of course… our minibus had its own little weekend in Blackpool too! 😂🌊

Friday drop-off ✅
Fantastic weekend ✅
Sunday pick-up ✅
Minibus parked on the Promenade like it owned the place ✅🤣

Whether it’s a family weekend away, a day trip, a special occasion,
or an airport transfer, we take the stress out of getting there and back.

No parking nightmares. No arguing over who’s driving. No squeezing everyone into three different cars. 😂

Just sit back, relax and enjoy the journey. 😎🚐

⭐ Our Google reviews continue to come in from new customers and our regular customers who keep choosing us time and time again — and honestly, we couldn’t be more grateful.
