The Boat is Now Closed

Tonight we will close the doors at The Boat for the last time and bring this project and my custodianship of the Boat to an end, I would like to thank all our customers, friends and family that have supported us over the last 6 years,

These six years have been long and tough but I went into this with my eyes open and have enjoyed almost every minute of it, but good things have to come to an end, so thank you again, all the best Pete

Our Story

The pub is family friendly with real ales and a monthly menu of freshly prepared homemade food. We have a popular traditional Sunday lunch, with a choice of 3 succulent roasts. Tuesday Night - Burger night and Quiz Night, with the chance to win a £20 bar tab Vouch Thursday Night - Grill Night Saturday - Live Music most weekends Sunday - Sunday Lunch Specials Lunchtime Chef Specials - Tue-Fri (See Chef specials board for details). We also show the live football matches on most days, nights on our two large screens - and major event games on the giant screen. Mostly though, we aim to provide great service, great beers and wines and great food in a nice atmosphere... pop in and say hello - we’d love to see you and have a natter.
