It is with deep sadness we write this post.
We hoped it wouldn’t come to this. ( especially after the December rise which just covered Manchester Airports extortionate fees to drop off & pick up )
We have agonised & deliberated for so long.
BUT

With the price of fuel continuing to soar we find ourselves in a position we cannot sustain any longer.
With the cost of living rising on top of the fuel prices rising I do understand that this will not be good news for our customers - our drivers can’t continue losing money like they are on the current pricing structure, due to the high fuel prices now.
It simply isn’t viable…..

By the end of 2021 fuel prices were around £1.43 per litre
Now we are seeing £1.75-1.80 per litre

Cost wise for a car :
The increase in fuel alone is an extra £4.25 so an extra £8.50 for a return airport transfer booking.
The larger vehicles this figure increases to £9.25 or £18.50 for a bus with a rt booking ( so a customer booking to go to the airport & coming back 2 weeks later for example ) - so as you can see it is a lot more than it was at the end of 2021.

We will be introducing what we HOPE is a temporary price increase for while the fuel pricing is the way it is.
Hopefully in time this can return to the existing pricing model.

PLS NOTE this isn’t a wage rise for the drivers , this extra charge literally just covers the extra fuel costs we have had with this higher than acceptable pump .
