Sorry for the absence on our page for a couple of weeks. We have been absolutely snowed under with work. Our new taxi service, iCars, is now serving lots more new faces. Thanks to all of our customers that are recommending us to their friends and family.

Our apps now have over 100 downloads which is an amazing achievement. Over 100 people using the latest technology to order and track their cab on our tiny island!!

Remember, if you use the app to order a taxi you will be giving the price of the journey up front and not charged a penny more!

Our state of the art computer dispatch system prices the job for the shortest route. Even if the driver goes a slightly different route you will still be charged for the shortest distance.

We are aware of a smear campaign that is trying to undermine our commitment to providing the best service using up to date vehicles and technology.

Not sure the label of 'Cowboys' is appropriate, we thought a cowboy taxi outfit would have crappy old cars and tell the customer the taxi was five minutes away no matter where it was and take you the long way around. Maybe even take you to a cash point with the meter running!!!

We have chip and pin terminals in all of our cars and don't charge you more to pay by card, not very cowboy'ish at all pmsl.

Can you spot something that shouldn't be there??

So it's darts night and I get a call asking to look for some darts that a customer has lost.

I search high and low for them in the back and can't find them anywhere.

And now at 2am I get home to find them on the step of the minibus!

I'm not sure what amazes me the most. Is it that the darts stayed on the step all the way back or the fact that the phone started ringing at 6 am and I have just got back from my last job of the day????

If my fairy godmother is reading this, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE find me some drivers. I promise to pay them well, provide lots of work, keep the cars in good working order and even pay a xmas bonus.

Thanks again to all that have used us again this week and those that have recommended us too your friends and family.

A big welcome to David who has joined the team at iCars. We now have an extra car out and about at the weekend but we still need full time drivers.

So, if you know any taxi drivers that would like to join Swale's fastest expanding taxi company, please let them know.

Keep an eye open for our new taxi. It should be out in town on Wednesday!

A big thank you to all that have used iCars this week. Lots of new faces and a few old ones too. A few more people have downloaded the app and using the easiest way to order a taxi on Sheppey. Thanks to all our customers that have recommended us too.

But also, a really big sorry to the few that we couldn't take on their journey this week. We have had to let a few people down but we won't tell porky pies if we can't get to you quick enough.

We desperately need more drivers! So if any one knows someone who already is a licensed taxi driver looking for a fresh approach to how things are done, please let them know that we need a few drivers to keep up with the demand.
