Pontesbury Hall Bank Closure (weekdays only)
Monday 24th August until Friday 4th September 26

Due to roadworks on Hall Bank, some services heading towards Shrewsbury will be diverted via Brookside.
Please do not wait at the Hall Bank bus stops during this period as some buses will not be able to serve them.

The closes stops the 552/3 will be able to stop at are:
Opposite Ashford Way & Opposite Cliffdale Nursing Home

📢 Service Update – 740 / 738

Due to a road closure on the A4113 (The Firs to High Street), the 740 / 738 service will be diverted from Monday 24th August until Friday 28th August, between 08:00 and 17:00.

🚌 Diversion Route:
Leintwardine → Clungunford → Craven Arms → Ludlow
…and the same route in reverse.

Please allow extra time for your journey, as delays are possible while the diversion is in place.

As Shrewsbury Town have confirmed the Ludlow supporter bus won’t return, the 435 bus Service offers a practical alternative for supporters on Saturday Matchday's from Ludlow, Craven Arms, the Strettons, Dorrington and Condover.

Choose your outbound time:
• 11:30 from Ludlow → 12:35 Hereford Road, Meole Brace
• 13:30 from Ludlow → 14:35 Hereford Road, Meole Brace

Return: 17:35 from Hereford Road, Meole Brace

It’s around a 10‑minute walk to Croud Meadow, and Single fares are £3, reducing to £2 from January 2027 (Government scheme, T&Cs apply).
