Business Development Manager required

Huxley Curzon Logistics have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our freight forwarding and Logistics company.

Who are we?

Huxley Curzon Logistics ltd are a growing Logistics, Transport and freight forwarding company that is growing and provides the highest levels of customer service with exceptional attention to detail.

With access to over 3000 drivers, we can accommodate any load from any supplier within the UK.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Business Development Manager for the UK whose primary focus will be actively sourcing new business and developing business activities within the Transport & Logistics sector.

Desirable Criteria:

Sales experience in a freight forwarding company and an excellent knowledge of the UK logistics market.
Proven successful business development, account management or Logistics & Transportation experience in the UK.
Highly motivated, personable, professional, and able to cultivate long-term business relationships.

This position would suit someone who is wanting to be part of a journey and who has a passion for growing with a business and making a success our and your career.

This is a self-employed position with excellent earning potential and serious potential for growth.

Up and down the country again this week with lots of work booked in for our delivery teams. Our teams have travelled to Musselburgh and Goodwood supplying guest hospitality items for our client serving the racing industry along with an eventful trip over the Pennines from the Vale of York to Cheshire for our small van deliveries.

A new water pump later and ‘Deirdre’ the Doblo was back on her way after a steamy stop on the hard shoulder of the M62 on Saddleworth Moor. At least the sun was shining whilst she cooled down. Thanks to the AA Breakdown guys who expertly assisted with the full repair after she had cooled off, been topped up with water and dropped in Cheshire for our sub contracted client.

Whatever the challenges, we will get it there… on time!

Full Job Description
Huxley Curzon Logistics Ltd are recruiting experienced and efficient delivery driver to join our operation. Applicants are expected to achieve daily time critical deliveries and to be able to work alone in a demanding yet rewarding environment with strong earning potential. The logistics industry is demanding and challenging but offers permanent and regular work in a volatile world. Please read job criteria below and message us if you are up for a challenge!!!

*This is a self employed position*
*5 day week & Part Time

Typical day (fully trained): -
- Typical start time is 8am
- Delivering anytime between 8am to 6pm (Volume Dependant).
- The more you deliver, more you get paid.
- The faster you successfully deliver, quicker you get finished.
*Up to 5 days per week (or more)
*Performance based pay
*Loading and delivering.
*Van provided (with fuel), fully insured.
*Training provided.
*Fuel provided at no cost to you.

What we are looking for: -
*Someone with exceptional customer service!
*Attention to detail to ensure deliveries are completed as per the correct process.
*Dedication and commitment!
*Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
*Physically fit individual who can perform under pressure.
*Flexibility to meet service demands.

Requirements: -
*Commercial van driving experience preferred but NOT essential.
*Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points with NO active IN, DR or TT codes.
*Have good spoken and written English

Our team out and about on the road this afternoon taking in the scenery en route to Fort William. Working alongside our network, we are able to pick up a package from anywhere in the British Isles, within the hour, and deliver it same day!

Whether it be the size of a small laptop or transporting multiple pallets, we will get it there on time!

We are doing our bit by helping increase Scotlands mobile phone coverage in the Scottish highland. We were up at Tobermory on Friday delivering new equipment to the engineers so the local population and tourists can get better mobile signals. We even took away the old equipment and waste and we will be delivering to a recycling centre in Broxburn on Monday to play our part in keeping Scotland clean. 🚚🚚🚚🚚📱📱📱📱♻️♻️♻️♻️

Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

Full Job Description
Huxley Curzon Logistics Ltd are recruiting experienced and efficient multi drop driver to join our operation operating out of EuroCentral. Applicants are expected to achieve daily time critical targets and to be able to work alone in a demanding yet rewarding environment with strong earning potential. The parcel industry is demanding and challenging but offers permanent and regular work in a volatile world. Please read job criteria below and message us if you are up for a challenge!!!

*This is a self employed position*
*5 day week & Part Time/Job Share

Typical day (fully trained): -
- Loading the van in the depot from 10:30am.
- Delivering anytime between 12:00pm to 9pm (Volume Dependant).
- De-brief at depot before finish.
- More you deliver, more you get paid.
- Faster you successfully deliver, quicker you get finished.
*Up to 5 days per week
*Performance based pay...100 to 150 Stops per day. (Paid per stop)
*£80 a day minimum then £1 a stop after 80 stops.
*Loading and delivering parcels up to 25Kgs.
*3.5 Ton LWB van provided (with fuel), fully insured.
*Training provided with pay.
*Free Uniform provided.
*Fuel provided at no cost to you.
*Bonus & reward scheme in place to boost your earnings!

What we are looking for: -
*Someone with exceptional customer service!
*Attention to detail to ensure deliveries are completed as per the correct process.
