Any applicant would be required to have a confident telephone manner, a knowledge of the local area and good organisational skills.

It is with great sadness that we announce that our evening driver, Mohammed Noor, passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday 10th April 2022. He will be greatly missed by all those who worked with him and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

As of January this year we have relocated our office from Princes Risborough Station where we had been based for over 20 years. This means that there will no longer be a Village Cars waiting room at the station but our drivers will still be operating from Princes Risborough and we will continue to provide the same service as before.

All cars will carry hand sanitizers for customer use.
All cars will be cleaned regularly, especially handles and seatbelts.
Drivers will wear masks.
Card payments now accepted as well as cash and BACS.

In the light of the PM’s announcement last night we will cease to carry out any ordinary taxi runs. We will, however, continue to offer to pick up shopping and prescriptions for the elderly and vulnerable and will also continue to work with the Coop in Princes Risborough to do local food deliveries.

We would like to inform all of our customers that our office at Princes Risborough Station is officially closed as from the end of Saturday 21.3.2020; however, we will still be receiving and monitoring calls.
We shall be working in conjunction with the Coop in Princes Risborough who are offering a food delivery service for the elderly and Covid 19 vulnerable customers.
If you or anyone you know would benefit from this service then please contact the Coop direct on 01844347932.
Although this is potentially a worrying and uncertain time, it is a good opportunity for all of us to look out for each other so please let us know if there is anything we can do to help and we will do our best.

We would like to let all our customers know that Ian Demaine, who had been a driver with Village Cars for over 20 years, sadly passed away about 10 days ago.
His funeral will be held at Amersham Crematorium on Friday 7th February 2020 at 16.00.
