May has been an incredibly busy month for our vehicles… 🚚

The first weekend kicked things off with Keith Baron taking the Leyland Beaver to the annual HCVS London to Brighton Run. It was a fantastic day, showcasing an impressive range of historic vehicles.

Last week, both the Thornycroft and the brand-new Volvo FH Aero were on display at CHEMUK, perfectly illustrating the remarkable evolution of vehicles over the past 100 years.

Over the recent bank holiday weekend, several vehicles were proudly exhibited in Chipping, including the Thornycroft, Atkinson, Volvo F10, and once again the FH Aero.

Meanwhile, we were also delighted to have one of our vehicles taking part in the Caribbean Carnival in Preston, adding to a packed and varied month of appearances. 🎡

We’re at the NEC this Wednesday & Thursday, showcasing two standout vehicles, our historic Thornycroft and the 2026 Volvo FH Aero.

Last weekend we hosted our annual Bowker Golf Day 🏌️‍♂️

Colleagues from both our Transport Group and the Bowker Motor Group came together for a fantastic day on the course. Despite some worrying forecasts, the weather held out and we were treated to plenty of sunshine

There were some impressive scores in the Texas scramble, but in the end there could only be one winning team…

Congratulations to Jack, Matt, Stuart and Matthew from the Motor Group for taking first place 🥇 🏆

The Transport team will definitely be back next year to reclaim first prize...
