Let’s give a big shout out for …..Fox Maritime who recently completed our first recycling material shipment out of Heysham, the contract of 4600 tonnes of cleaned, crushed glass was a combined project with J.A. Jackson, who are also a part of the Fox Group.
The teams over saw the project from start to finish with customs, J.A. Jackson managed the processing and haulage of the material to the docks at Heysham before Fox Maritime completed the loading, within 6 hours, of the cargo ship Schouwenbank, for her departure to Portugal.

It was an absolute pleasure to work on this assignment as a team and look forward to developing the recycling material business further.

Fox Maritime provide agency services at all Irish sea ports on the UK mainland including Glasgow, Ayr, Troon, Fairlie, Workington, Silloth, Barrow, Glasson, Heysham, Garston, Penrhyn and Holyhead.

9 months Maternity Cover (could lead to permanent)
Hours – Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm and Saturday 7am – 12pm as part of a Rota (option to be varied if we find the right candidate)
Main duties:
• Join a small, friendly, professional team at our main quarry office.
• Taking incoming calls and managing emails
• Filing and scanning documents
• Inputting data
• Ensure that general housekeeping standards are always maintained to the highest level.
• Adhoc duties
Requirements
• Confident & proactive with a friendly personality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Diligent and well organised.
• Able to work as part of a team in an office environment
• Able to work to deadlines and manage their own time effectively
• Ability to multitask and problem solving
• Computer literate (experience with Microsoft essential)
Experience in working with aggregates and/or concrete is preferred but not essential as training will be given
What We Offer
• 28 paid holiday days (includes Bank Holidays)
• Free on-site parking
Salary: to be agreed depending on experience.
