I promised my wife this would be my last one but, it’s not I go again in April my 1st Amateur fight will be in Connor’s quay. But before then I have this white collar event as a warm up.

I’m trying to raise awareness and some much needed funds to help find a cure for Cancer. My son has been suffering from this now for months and still has hurdles to get over, I’ve had close friends suffer from forms of cancer and with the help of research they have come through the other end.

Cancer affects us all some keep it close to themselves as they want to fight it in their own way.

My two sons, my eldest is suffering at the moment with the horroble disease cancer, it breaks my heart not being able to take it away from him. I’m so very proud of him and his little brother loves him to bits, keep smiling son remember Memphis bound as soon as your better x

So that’s it 11 weeks fight has just began with a 5 mile run, not done a thing since last fight 3 weeks ago so gonna be a slow start.

At 52 I’ll be by far the oldest man in the ring, I’ll probably get matched up with a much younger and stronger guy than myself but he won’t have is my cardio, he’ll look at me and think old man, well what I lack in power, movement and youth I’ll make up for in cardio.

This will be my last fight as I’ve promised the wife so I want to go out with a bang. People will say win lose or draw it’s for charity well yes it’s for charity but no one wants to lose.

Tickets go on sale in January so if any of you would like to come and show your support that would be amazing, I’m doing it again to raise funds for Cancer, prostate cancer this time, a very important and personal cancer to myself.
