Just a quick note to say thanks for using Gus’s Taxis and Minibus Hire over the last year.

It’s been very busy and I’d like to acknowledge the flexibility and loyalty of the drivers and support staff that have assisted me greatly over the last 12 months. It is very much appreciated.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a good New Year.

In order to provide valued time with family we will not be able to provide any taxis services on Christmas Day.

We are proud to support the organisers of the Isle of Skye Half Marathon again this year by providing a vehicle to act as a 'sweeper bus' for participants. It's a blustery day on Skye and will be a challenge for the hardy folk that have entered this year. Good luck to all runners taking part in Toddler Dash, Fun Run and the main event itself.

Wee extra mention for Bruce Crawford who, at time of writing, has already completed 3 out of 4 half-marathons today in atrocious weather, in his fantastic effort to raise funds for a local cause.

Tomorrow marks 35 years to the day Angus C MacFarlane established Gus's Taxis. Since then the business has expanded. We really are fortunate as a company to get hires like this. Collected clients from the ship in Dunvegan and took them to the three chimneys where they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Using our brand new 8 passenger minibus was a big plus for the people travelling.
