Service updates from 2 November 2026
From Monday 2 November, we'll be making a small number of updates to services 34, 42B and 104 to help improve reliability and keep services operating effectively.
Updated timetable information will be available before the changes take effect using the Journey Planner.

Plymouth Citybus and Total Fitness update from Angelique!

I am loving everything about this programme! Sharing this experience with newly-met friendly people in a nurturing environment, the great training sessions, the daily monitoring of my physical activities (via MyZone) and the recording of my body stats have driven me over the past 4 weeks to consider healthy habits in a more holistic way. Beyond training harder, I have also started to mindfully consider my sleep as well as my food and drink intake and by the end of the 12 weeks, I’m hoping that this new routine becomes second nature. I am already feeling more energetic and generally brighter and stronger! Great timing for me as I’m about to turn 40! Thank you so much Total Fitness and City Bus for this opportunity!

This past Sunday, as part of our ongoing sponsorship of the Cornish Gig Rowing Association, we attended the Cornish Gig Rowing Junior International Championships at Queen Anne's Battery. 🚣🏼‍♀️

The day was a huge success with young athletes competing in a number of races through the day and we were proud to be a part of it. ☺️

We have another wonderful update to share with you.

This is Georgina's update. She says...

"My progress so far has been amazing! Not so much when it comes to weight loss, as I’ve only lost about half a kilo, but I feel so much more active and I’ve made some great new friendships with my work colleagues. Working in pairs during the circuits can be challenging sometimes, but we’re learning how to support and encourage each other. The competition between us as a group is also really good fun - it’s great seeing how many points we’ve achieved and who is currently first in the group! 😁

Another really exciting thing is the free travel to and from the gym that we’ve been given, so now we really have no excuse to say we can’t get there because of transport! 😂

Our trainer, Bill, is doing a great job structuring the sessions so everyone feels included. We all have different abilities, but no one is left behind or made to feel left out, which makes the whole experience even better. 💪"

"My weight loss journey has become so much more than just watching the number on the scales. I’m genuinely enjoying the process and have made changes to my habits and lifestyle that feel sustainable rather than temporary. I’m training harder, making better choices with food and becoming more aware of what my body needs. Seeing the progress has given me a real boost in confidence and motivation, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come so far. Most importantly, I’m starting to feel healthier, stronger and happier in myself."
