Emergency services appear to have closed off the road ⛔

A busy junction in a Nottinghamshire town has been closed off by police after a collision, causing 'serious disruption' to buses and motorists ⛔

The junction of Nottingham Road, Fairfield Street, Long Acre and Tithby Road, near the White Lion pub in Bingham, has been closed on Saturday afternoon (May 23) following an incident 🚧

At 3.20pm, bus operator Trentbarton said the collision was causing its buses to divert, with delays of up to 15 minutes longer on its routes 🚌

A spokesperson said: "We’re currently dealing with a road closure in Bingham following a road traffic collision (RTC) at the White Lion crossroads."

Nottingham City Transport (NCT) also said the road closures were causing 'severe disruption' to its Pathfinder 90 route.
