Nice early start yesterday morning for a trip to pick up a foal who had been very ill. Yesterday’s trip was to Oakham Veterinary Hospital.

Fresh hay and bedding on board for Foster Mare and foal for their long journey home. This little lady has really had it rough and been through the wars. I really hope she continues to fight hard and continues to make a speedy recovery for his owners.

A great evening out yesterday doing what I love….. transporting people’s pride and joy and making memories of a life time with them. Safe to say the girls loved every minute of cross country schooling at Blackwater Farm. Was such a lovely evening in the sun 😍😍😍

Over the last year and a bit I have worked my ass off to build up my business from scratch . Last week I broke down (luckily no horses on board) today I learnt that I need a new engine as there was no compression from cylinder 3 (fiat - French). The box sailed through its last MOT not that long ago and has been serviced every 10,000 miles since I have had it. Sadly this is the first time this box has really let me down mechanically.

Look it’s one of those things that you have to deal with and take on the chin and move on with. Until the box has a new engine obviously I will be off the road till further notice. Those with bookings in the next 2/3 weeks I have notified.

I will be back and I’m determined to come back bigger and stronger than before. I will update you all when I’m back on the road.

This week has been absolutely crazy busy and we haven’t even finished so sorry for the poor lack of updates.

On Monday we picked up a sports horse from a pre training yard and returned it home to its very happy owners.

Tuesday was a trip to Southwell Racecourse for James Owen Racing and his team where we had 3 runners 1 winner. On the same day the team also had a winner at Huntington.

Wednesday - Early morning covering at Dalham Hall for a new client on board followed by cleaning out the box and then picking up a 8 month old c**t and taking him to his new owners yard.

Yesterday was a trip to a sunny but very windy Great Yarmouth Racecourse for Dylan Cunha Racing LTD and his team. A decent 3rd on the day.

Now time to get the horsebox ready for a vet run this afternoon.

I am delighted with how busy things are but on Monday I received 20 inquiries alone (not complaining) so if I have missed your message please feel free to give me a nudge after all I am a one man band. Thank you all for your continued support.

Moved the lovely Piper today to her retirement home. She loaded and travelled a dream. Here she is meeting her new friend. Once settled in she will join the yearlings outside in acres of land to explore and eat lots of lush grass. Enjoy your retirement girl. Thanks Don Clark for allowing me to move your precious cargo.
