Norwich Canoe Hire Company

Hi everyone! Unfortunately, we can't open this summer. We had a great time last year and hopefully, Norwich will get another city-centre based canoe hire operation again soon because the river through the city is wonderful.

While we are waiting, LIKE these other great local things to do along the river to hear the latest:
Whitlingham Broad Campsite - perfectly situated for a wonderful camping break near the river.
Norfolk Paddle Co - operating a stand-up paddle-board club in Norwich.
Whitlingham Outdoor Education Centre - all sorts of water based activities on Whitlingham Broad - definitely worth checking out!
http://www.thorpeferry.org/ - a river taxi from the Thorpe side of the river to Whitlingham.
Great Yare Company - Thorpe Green to Whitlingham - another river taxi, closer to the city.
Both useful for getting from one side of the river to the other if you are cycling..

Norwich Canoe Club and Eagle Canoe Club for canoeing...

This Saturday (10th October) is our last opening day of the year. Come down for a final paddle! We are open 1-5pm.

Three day weekend!

How does this sound? Paddling down through the city, drifting for a while to take in the sights. A Haribo fuelled burst of speed to reach Thorpe Island. Stopping at the Rushcutters or the Townhouse for lunch and sitting outside in the sun. Taking it easy on the way back. A perfect way to enjoy a summer day!
