When you book with us, I bet you sometimes groan at all the questions we need to ask. So this post is to help you understand how we work and how we can make sure that your journey is in the best vehicle possible.

The most common type of Private Hire vehicle is a 4 seater vehicle. Some boots are bigger than others but they can only carry up to 4 passengers each. A great choice for people who travel with only hand luggage (honestly, you're probably one of ours favourites if you do 😉).

Slightly bigger is cars that carry up to 6 people. These are MPVs like our owners Ford Galaxy. Usually has two seats in the boot so they're excellent choices for a big group of people with hand luggage or up to 4 people who have elephant size cases with them.

Then last but not least, our giant 8 seaters. These can be the conference style seats, usually described as a hackney cab or a converted van where all the seats face forward. Either way, boot space is never an issue and everything fits!

You may be asking, what if its more than 8 seats? Well luckily our drivers actually like each other and it'll usually be a mixture of the vehicles taking you to and from your destination. Some customers may have experienced this with us in the past.

When taking bookings for airports, we usually ask what kind of luggage you're taking.

Some people take one pair of underwear for their month long trip, some people take the everything and the kitchen sink for their extreme day trip to Paris.

We want to make sure we can accomodate you to the best of our abilities by matching you with the driver with the most adequate boot space. So we're providing this graphic so you can whip out the tape measure (its always exciting we know 😉) and see what size your luggage is.

We don't charge extra for luggage (excluding golf clubs because they're HEAVY) so the prices we post are the prices you'll pay.

Passengers travelling to and from Liverpool airport this week, there may be disruptions to travel due to roadworks. There is a scenic route, in the dark. Roadworks are overnight.
🚧 Upcoming Overnight Road Closures – Speke Boulevard / Speke Road 🚧

As part of resurfacing works, we’ll be carrying out improvements at junction A561 Speke Boulevard / Speke Road over the next few weeks.
To minimise disruption, works will take place overnight.
⚠️ This is a key route serving the airport, local businesses and city centre, so journeys may be affected even if you don’t live locally.

📅 Planned works:
North side of Speke Boulevard / Speke Road
• 22-23 June, 8pm–6am
• 29-30 June, 8pm–6am
Eastbound closures in place during these times.

South side of Speke Boulevard / Speke Road
• 24-26 June, 8pm–6am
• 1-3 July, 8pm–6am

Diversions in place for affected routes.
