Tarka Taxis Supporting Devon Air Ambulance

At Tarka Taxis, we spend countless hours on the roads across Devon, and we regularly see Devon Air Ambulance crews and aircraft in action, responding to emergencies and helping people when they need it most.

We see first-hand just how important this incredible service is to our local communities, and we want to do our bit to help keep it flying.

That’s why Tarka Taxis will be donating £2 from every completed fare to Devon Air Ambulance.

Every journey we make will help contribute towards this vital, life-saving service. The more journeys we complete, the more we can give back.

We’d also encourage our customers, friends and followers to support this fantastic charity wherever possible. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference.

Thank you for supporting Tarka Taxis and helping us give something back to the community we serve.

Tarka Taxis — getting you there, while helping save lives.

The charity says it can weather the deficit for now but warns finances must improve.

We got the call from the RAC last night to get some stranded customers from Salcombe home to the Cotswolds, which fortunately for us coincided with a trip booked back from Birmingham airport.

So today a rather unusual job for Tarka, we were tasked to to pick up at the Imperial Hotel and take some foreign travellers on a tour of Dartmoor, taking in Ashburton, Chagford, Moretonhampstead, Two Bridges, Princetown, Poundsgate, Lunch at Badgers Holt and return to the imperial 7 hours later. Rather interestingly the job came through tik tok!

We here at Tarka end up miles away from base, we must not forget what’s on our own doorstep, today after a double drop in Torquay we took an hour walking the South West Coast Path.
