We require people who are hardworking, reliable, honest and above all determined to go the extra mile. We're looking for you if you like to be inspired yet inspire others. Do you work well on your own initiative but are also a great team player?
You will be working from our West Cowes, Isle of Wight Control Centre and will support the Managers, Drivers and your fellow colleagues. You will work alongside our outstanding employees.
To comply with the Isle of Wight Council licensing policy, you will be required to have a basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check completed which we can process on your behalf.
Your job will involve taking telephone bookings from Retail and Corporate clients as well as dispatching the work through our in-house dispatch system to all drivers. You will be required to make calls to customers.
We'd love to meet you if you have;
A good local knowledge of Isle of Wight
Good telephone manner
Are able to work flexible hours as we are a 365 day a year, 7 days business.
Are ready for a challenge and quick to learn.
Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to know your way around a computer.
Shifts will range from MORNING, AFTERNOON and EVENINGS (including Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Shifts will change on a weekly basis, so again, it is essential that you are fully flexible.
