Due to continued rapid growth, International Export Packers are looking to expand our Export Packing and Despatch teams at our Newark facility.

From Formula One cars to 50-tonne generators, we manufacture bespoke timber packing crates and export pack cargo for customers across the UK and beyond — and we’re looking for hardworking, skilled individuals to join us.

We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in:
✔️ Woodworking machinery
✔️ Cross cut/bench saws
✔️ Nail guns
✔️ Timber export packing
✔️ Fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environments

What we offer:

🪂 Craig Did It! 🪂

After plenty of nerves, a lot of courage and one very big leap, our very own Craig Symonds officially completed his skydive in aid of the Children's Bereavement Centre 💙

Ahead of the jump, Craig admitted that “looking forward to it may be a little strong!” — with excitement equally matched by nerves 😅 But taking on this challenge for such a worthwhile cause finally gave him the push he needed to tick a huge bucket list moment off once and for all.

Craig took the leap to help support children and families experiencing bereavement, a cause that means something personally to him, and we couldn’t be prouder of what he has achieved.

Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of family, friends, colleagues and customers, Craig has raised a whopping £1,429 so far! 👏

Today we’re celebrating an incredible milestone… 🎉

22 years with International Export Packers for Craig!

Craig has been a huge part of our journey over the years, and his dedication, loyalty and hard work have helped shape the business into what it is today. An amazing achievement 👏

To mark both his 22nd anniversary and turning 40 this May, Craig is doing something he’s been putting off for over 20 years… a skydive alongside Serhii (Craig’s on the right in the photo!).

But for Craig, this is about so much more than the jump.

He’s raising funds for the Children’s Bereavement Centre, a cause that’s become deeply personal. After hearing more about his mum’s experience of losing her father at just 15—and carrying that unprocessed grief for a lifetime—it’s given Craig a powerful reason to finally take the leap.

His goal is to help ensure that no child has to face that kind of loss alone.

Craig has already raised an incredible £1,134 of his £1,250 target 💙

Feel-Good Friday vibes 😊

Here’s a story that’s always worth sharing…

We once handled a shipment of an antique clock all the way to Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺. A special job in itself, but what made it even better was the relationship behind it. Our customer remembered Catherine and her Queensland adventure, and thought she’d appreciate knowing the packaging had been recycled for the journey.

Well… it didn’t stop there.

Once the clock had been safely unpacked, the crate clearly decided it wasn’t ready for retirement just yet — it had been upcycled… and gained a new resident 🐾

Meet the unexpected tenant: a rather content-looking possum who clearly didn’t consult anyone about sub-letting the case!

Safe to say, it brought a smile to both our customer and our team — it’s not every day your packing case gets a second life quite like that.

Got to love where logistics can take you… sometimes with a surprise ending!

🌷 Celebrating the Women of Our Team 🌷

This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible women who are part of our work family. Each of them contributes to the success of our business in their own unique way — bringing different perspectives, skills, personalities and that all-important female touch that helps make our team what it is today.

While we operate in a traditionally male-dominated industry, and our female colleagues may be in the minority within our workforce, their impact is anything but small. Their dedication, professionalism and teamwork play a huge part in keeping everything moving smoothly day in and day out.

What made this year’s celebration especially heartwarming was a thoughtful gesture from our colleague Serhii, who brought in beautiful bouquets of tulips for all the women in the team on Friday. 🌷

It’s something he has done every year since joining us — a deeply rooted tradition in Ukraine where men give flowers, particularly tulips, to the women in their lives to mark the occasion.

It’s a simple gesture, but one that meant a lot and certainly gave our ladies that well-deserved Friday feeling!

To the women in our business — and to women everywhere making a difference every day — thank you and Happy International Women’s Day. 💜
