ON THE POND 2014 sets to bring a weekend of madness and fun to the new venue of Wake MK!! The original and first summer event returns for its 6th successive year and is set to be the biggest yet. On The Pond takes place on the side of the lakeside in a gorgeous setting, surrounded by trees and open space. In our exclusive camping area, there will be food stands, a giant igloo and music marquee! Ov

er the weekend you have the choice of chilling in the sun, wakeboarding, high ropes, pedalo’s, windsurfing, BBQ’s and much much more. For those of you have not ever been to On The Pond - you do not need to be a professional wake boarder or have done it before, and if you want to, there will be ample opportunity to try it!! For those who have, check out our booking options to get in as much riding as you can handle. Other activities over the weekend include high ropes, pedalo boats, windsurfing and live music each day and night for the whole weekend covering all tastes, and a guaranteed party carnival atmosphere. Ticket price of £44 includes camping from Thursday afternoon till Sunday, and all the music events are free and included in the price! There will be a licensed bar and food stands on site, but you can also bring your own and bbq on site. If anyone has a group of friends/snowsports to bring, call us or email on [email protected] We will either let you know a free place ratio OR commission that you can earn!! LOCATION
Easy to find, whether you are local or coming by car, bus, or train. By Car - From M1
Leave the M1 at J14 and head West towards Milton Keynes on the A509. After about 400m go over the first roundabout (3rd exit) keeping on the A509. Drive over the next roundabout (2nd exit) still on the A509. You will see the lake on your left. At the next roundabout (near Siemens) turn left onto the V10 Brickhill Street. At the next small roundabout turn left into the car park. By Car – From A5
Leave the A5 at the A509 (Milton Keynes North and East), and head East towards the M1. Go straight over about 7 roundabouts until you come to V10 Brickhill Street - Willen Lake will be signposted – take the last exit onto V10 Brickhill Street (by Siemens) heading south. By Train
Go by train to British Rail Milton Keynes. We are a short (5 minute) taxi or bus ride away. By Coach
Milton Keynes benefits from an excellent intercity coach service from most major UK towns. The coach park is just off the M1 J14 and is a short (2 minute) taxi ride from Willen Lake where WakeMK is based. A few answers to the questions you have been asking!

1) You don't need an e-ticket - your name will be on the sign in sheet on the gate. If you have your booking confirmation to show on your phone/information email sent Monday that will be fine

2) Arrivals anytime from 2.30 pm tomorrow - please do not arrive early as we won't be ready for you!

3) Tickets can be bought on the gate for £49 for the weekend and £20 for Saturday only

4) Wake boarding and High Ropes course can be bought on arrival (on a first come/first serve basis)

5) There is a bar and food available on site

6) Parking is next to the site and costs £4. There is free parking but it is a bit of a walk to it

7) The postcode you need is - MK15 9HQ - you are aiming for 'WAKE MK'

We have had a few people contact us who missed the booking deadline, so in order to accommodate this we have opened up a last minute bookings page which closes at 2pm today! £44 now or £49 on the gate.
