Due to Increasing workloads, we are now looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to join the team based in Flimby Cumbria.
Thompsons Plant Hire Ltd is a family business based in Flimby on the Cumbrian coast.
Founded in 1994 by Kevin Thompson, we are a rapidly expanding business operating in the Biomass, Plant Hire & Haulage sectors.
Rates
£40,000 - £44,000 (Rates are based on average earnings working away Monday-Friday. Wage will vary depending on workload and Job role)
Job Role
As an HGV driver in Thompson Plant Hire you are required to be able to work individually and as part of our established team. Also be required to undertake a variety of different work, the fleet contains
Flats
Timber Skelly’s
Timber Cranes
Low Loaders
Walking Floors
Artic Tippers
The role is full time, based on Monday to Friday with some occasional Saturday/Sunday shifts as required. The majority of the role will be working around the Timber industry collecting round timber from the forest and delivering finished product to customers around the UK.
Key Skills
The below Key skills would be advantageous due to the nature of the work, but training will also be given.
