More Than Just a Journey

GMW Private Hire Limited was built around a simple belief: private hire should be personal, reliable and professional — without losing the human touch.

My name is Gavin Wallis, and I’m the owner of GMW Private Hire Limited. I’m not a large national company or a faceless booking centre. I’m a local independent operator, and when you book with GMW Private Hire, you’re supporting a business where every customer and every journey genuinely matters.

For me, this isn’t simply about getting someone from A to B.

It’s about the family starting their holiday with an early-morning airport transfer. It’s about making sure someone gets home safely after a special night out. It’s about helping a business traveller arrive professionally and on time. And sometimes, it’s simply about being there when somebody needs a dependable driver they can trust.

I created GMW Private Hire because I believe customers deserve high standards, modern vehicles and excellent service at a sensible price.

I’ve worked hard to build a business based on something that money cannot buy — reputation and trust.

As a local operator, my name is attached to the service I provide. That means I care about the condition of our vehicles, the professionalism of our drivers, communication with customers and, most importantly, making sure we do everything possible to deliver the service we promised.

Why choose GMW Private Hire?

Because we want you to feel that your journey matters.

Whether you're travelling to an airport, cruise terminal, business meeting, theatre, sporting event, family occasion or simply planning a special day out, our aim is to make the transport the easiest part of your day.

We offer modern vehicles, professional drivers and a growing range of private hire services, while still maintaining the personal approach of a genuinely local business.

I'm incredibly proud of what GMW Private Hire Limited is becoming, but I don't want us to become so big that we forget why we started.

People first. Service second to none.

When somebody chooses GMW Private Hire, I don't take that booking for granted. You have trusted my company with part of your journey, your family, your plans and your time.

That trust means something to me.

So, if you're looking for a local private hire company that cares about the journey just as much as the destination, I'd love the opportunity to show you what GMW Private Hire Limited can offer.
