Hello all, please can I ask that anyone wishing to book a taxi, could you give the office a call, there is only myself who deals with this page and sometimes I don’t see messages in time, and I’m not always at the office so I can’t book anything in if I’m not there, as I don’t know what else might be in.

And you might not be able to have the times that you want.
I can try and price taxis up, for journeys, on here, and sort out other none urgent enquiry’s, but all bookings must go through the office.

Hello all

I would just like to reassure all customers that what we have done with the taxi meters in our private hire cars is completely legal despite rumours, stating otherwise.

We made sure it was allowed before we took this into consideration,
I have had confirmation from East Lindsey license office and this paragraph is also from the taxi driver licence book from them.

If anyone has any issues please feel free to get in contact with me and I will gladly print off the 40 page booklet.

Taximeters in Vehicles
A hire car is not required to fit a taximeter, but if such a meter is fitted, it must be correctly calibrated, tested for accuracy and approved. (Section 71, LG(MP)A). The Council requires taximeters to be tested and sealed by an approved agent
