🚛 Vacancy for Class 1 HGV Driver/Class 2 Driver 🚚

⭐ Clavell Transport is a Lincolnshire based haulage company specialising in the movement of static caravans and lodges nationwide. We run Rigid, Sloper and Low-ride units ⭐️

Due to expansion we are looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver, and accompanying Es**rt Driver.
All of our trucks are run with an Es**rt Vehicle, at all times. The es**rt vans are kitted out with sleeping facilities, night heater and inverter.

The successful candidate(s) will be out 4 nights a week, working Monday through Friday, with the very occasional run in on a Saturday morning.

Competitive salary, generous bonus scheme, plus other benefits.
Night out paid at £25pn.
20 days holiday + bank holidays.

On-site tea room, fuelling & truck washing facilities. Secure premises with staff parking.

Over 25s only due to insurance.
Previous experience in the movement of Ab-loads would be advantageous.
Driving trials will be conducted with a manager on successful offer of a position.

Actros L is a new fleet flagship for Clavell Transport!

The Lincolnshire company supplies a range of static caravans, lodges and other prefabricated buildings across the UK. This means often moving buildings up to 15ft wide with plenty of stopping and starting.

Since 2017, it’s been assisted in this task by a Mercedes-Benz Actros, which has been highly efficient while racking up over 500,000 trouble-free kilometres.

Now, the company has added a second Actros to its fleet: an Actros L 1848 variant with a 350 kW (476 hp) variant of the third-generation OM 471 powerplant, supplied by Northside Truck & Van

“The new Actros L has a more powerful engine but if anything we expect it to be even more economical, as it won’t have to work so hard,” says proprietor, John Harneiss.

Driver Jason Chapman is excited about the new arrival too: “The Actros L cab is certainly comfortable and clearly designed by someone who understands what life behind the wheel is like. It’s great to drive and very relaxing on a long journey.”
