Day 1 ☀️

1. York Minster and tower (£ 18)
One of the world’s magnificent, over 1000 years old cathedral. It has the largest number of medieval stained glass windows in one place in the whole of Great Britain. In the crypts - The Undercroft Museum showing the colorful history of the building from its Roman roots to the present day

2. Stonegate & Barley Hall (£ 7.50)
Area Between Coney Street and King's Square - a lively, pedestrianized shopping area famous for its narrow streets, quaint shops and cafes. We can find here the St. Helena’s Church, the Mansion House (the residence of the Lord Mayor) and Barley Hall - restored medieval tavern; built in 1360 by the monks of Nostell Priory, and extended throughout the 15th century. At the moment, it hosts an exhibition of magic and secrets.

3. Shambles
One of the oldest streets in York with characteristic overhanging half-timbered buildings dating back to the 14th century. Called The Great Flesh Shambles, after the old Fleshambles meat counters. Today there is none butcher's shop left.

1. York Castle & Gardens (£ 13)
From 11:00
An introduction into the English way of life through the ages. Kirkgate - Victorian Street; children's toy story; Victorian lounge and 17th century dining room. Cells - former debtors' prison, convict cell.

2. (Optional) York, New Earswick & Cliford's Tower - a 16.5 km walk. Around 4 hours
3. (Optional) Brew York
Craft beer brewery. Possibility to visit the brewery (£ 10) & tasting of 4 beers.
Asian food available.

Day 3 ☀️☀️☀️
1. Jorvik Viking Center (£ 13.50)
The Archaeological Viking Center in Coppergate documents the daily life of the Vikings in the 11th century York, or "Jorvik". Reconstruction of Viking dwellings and medieval workshops, built over the remains of 1,000-year-old wooden houses. An interactive journey including plants, animals and… smells from old times.
