Metroline London has announced the appointment of Katie Frost as its new Chief Executive Officer. Katie becomes the first female CEO in the company’s history and joins the business at a pivotal moment for London’s transport network, as operators continue to focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer experience.

Katie brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across the UK transport sector, with a strong reputation for operational excellence, transformational leadership, and customer focused service delivery.

Her appointment reflects Metroline’s ambition to continue building a future focused, sustainable and customer-led organisation, supporting Transport for London’s priorities while responding to the evolving needs of passengers and communities across the capital.

Katie’s appointment follows Sean O’Shea’s appointment into the role of Chief Commercial Officer for ComfortDelGro UK and Ireland, ensuring continuity of leadership and strategic alignment across the Group.

Well done to Irene, Bus Driver at Cricklewood, who was recognised for her actions when a visibly upset young female passenger approached her whilst on duty. Irene took charge of the challenging situation, stopped her bus and contacted the Police. Irene went above and beyond her role to ensure that the young passenger was safe until the Police arrived.
