It's ! CTWeek is all about celebrating and spotlighting the UK’s essential yet often overlooked Community Transport services.

For this year, we want to show you a glimpse into our new Get Up and Go Services and how we're creating spaces for seniors to learn new skills, make new friends and create memories that last.

Thank you to all the staff who offered their time to be in the video, and to our service users who attended all our sessions, shuttles and day trips.

Today, we have a little four-legged friend visiting the office!

Meet Boris, one of our staff members' dogs, who has made many frequent appearances in our office over the years.

Many of our staff members are happy to see him when they walk in through our door, and he's just as happy to see them, too!

Act Up Newham hired our minibuses to go to Notting Hill Carnival, where, every year, the group perform in the parade for all of the attendees; this year was the event's 60th Anniversary.

Our minibuses have been busy so far this year! 🚌💨

We’ve had some brilliant days out together, exploring new places, revisiting old favourites and making plenty of memories along the way.

A big thank you to everyone who has joined us on our trips so far. We hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as we have!

And we’re not finished yet... We still have plenty more adventures to go before the end of the year. 🚌✨

Lisa had a surprise visit from Bubbles The Bear and Hammerhead on Tuesday night at West Ham United 's game against Queen's Park Rangers! Thank you for having us, we'll see you the 9th of October for the next game! 💖💙⚒

On Friday 11th of September, we shuttled many very happy West Ham United Hammers from London Stadium to the Stratford train stations after an amazing 6-0 score! Needless to say, the atmosphere was buzzing.

With a fleet of 15 of our drivers, we were more than ready to get fans where they needed to be, safely and comfortably. Thank you for having us, and see you again next time! 💖💙⚒

On Friday, 21st August, we at Community Transport Waltham Forest officially launched the Get Up and Go Services at the beautiful Valentines Mansion in Ilford.

We invited various Get Up and Go members from across Waltham Forest and Newham to join us for an afternoon of song, dance, activities, and socialization. We are thrilled to hear so many words of joy and satisfaction from attendees.

We would like to thank everyone who helped out and those who came and provided their services to an exceptional standard.

We hope the launch event was a memorable end to the summer and look forward to hosting more events in the future, with even more Get Up and Go users, more activities, and more memories to share with friends.

It's full steam ahead here at Community Transport, as preparation and last minute checks are underway and going well as we inch closer to the Get Up and Go launch event; services we have created for the older and vulnerable residents of Waltham Forest and Newham.

We only have 2 more days until the big day, so it's all hands on deck!
