ABOUT HOOFIN HORSE TRANSPORT

We are a local business with nearly 30 years of experience with Horses and Transportation. We set up Hoofin Horse Transport, so we could provide a service to local riders and owners. we are fully Authorised, certified, insured. we are trustworthy,reliable, no fuss transport for up to 2 horses to any agreed destination in the UK and EU

We take delivery of our new Type 2 , 3.5 Ton lorry in February , which will be DEFRA Authorised for any long distance trips, there is ample storage for saddles and tack and can be hired out for the day or days.

We aim to cover the the surrounding stables, yards and equestrian centers in the North Devon, providing Transport any where in the UK or EU. we provide a 24 hour 365 days a year service to take injured/sick or recovering horses to the Vets.

we also offer 24 hr break down service., where we will take your horse back to pick up point or onto drop point.

We operate out of coden Hill Equestrian centre in Barnstaple.

VETS.

In the unlikely event that your horse is injured or falls ill, we are on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year to transport your sick or injured horse to the vets in the local area or a specific vets if arranged, no call out fee or after hour charges, we charge a basic rate for delivery or pick up. we hold all written Documents of journey, which is required for insurance purposes

BREAKDOWNS.

In the unlikely event of you breaking down, we will come and transfer your horse and tack onto our lorry and either carry on to your original destination or bring it back to the place of pick up.

COMPETITION, EVENTS AND RACES.

We can Transport you to local competition, events or even Horse racing, you can hire one or both of our 3.5 Ton vehicles with enough room to stall 2 horses ( each van ), saddles and equipment with a seating area to rest in between competition

YARD to YARD.

Whether you have purchased a new horse or just changing livery yards, you can use our lorry to transport every thing in one go.... no fuss

Beach and Moors Rides.

Because we live in a lovely part of North Devon so close to the sea and Exmoor, hire us for the day for a lovely beach ride where the lorry will stay with you all day .

Note. All vehicles and equipment are washed and disinfected after every trip. All equipment used are inspected on completion and prior to use.
